Owning your own business can be incredibly rewarding, but also incredibly time consuming and stressful. Unwind and recharge with self-care. Self-care is basically defined as “care for oneself” and we’re giving you 40 wonderfully-simple ideas to care for yourself!

- Get cozy and read
- Pray and be still
- Bake something delicious
- Cook something new
- Take a bath or a shower (when you don’t have to be anywhere!)
- Go for a walk outside
- Watch you kids play at a park
- Play with your kids at a park (I love the swings!)
- Watch a funny show or movie and laugh
- Take a nap in the middle of the day
- Have coffee in bed with some mindless daytime tv
- Get your hair or nails done (or both!)
- Have coffee with friends
- Go on a date with your best friend
- Sit with your pet and love on them
- Have dinner with your family at the table
- Try out a group workout with drinks after
- Get a massage or enjoy a spa day
- Buy a new candle and chill with it
- Find a workout dance video on Youtube and dance
- Make a playlist of your favorite songs to sing to…and sing
- Get dressed up and go somewhere new
- Find somewhere quiet outside and listen to nature noises

My favorite way to unwind is to sit down and watch some really “bad” reality TV. I also LOVE going for walks outside – especially in the spring and fall. I also really love going on a date with my husband, playing a game with my kids, or going on a fun weekend night hang sesh with my BFFs! 💓
